Yes because for vanilla maps, it's fine, no need to paint, now downport a map, I can paint the IDs, I could take Darkmoon Island for example and downport to 3.3.5a, and paint in the IDs, I would only be able to paint down these IDs if I put them correctly into the DBC.

there's been like 1000 downport of the cata maps I haven't heard of this
