At the end of the day, parsing on a boss comes down to completing it while doing everything you can to achieve a certain outcome. If anything you could make the case that in some situations on certain bosses, warcraftlogs could exclude particular adds or similar in order to not make the parsing mindset all about the biggest number vs completion, but again this is just one take, and definitely not on blizzard, after all parsing is provded by WarcraftLogs not blizzard.
