WCL filters out parses with external buffs these days, so now the problem is the opposite, people often don't want to be juiced up on prog so that way their parse "counts", which is problematic if they're the best target for PI/Ebon Might.

im not saying that it should change gameplay. im saying the parsing side should be doing the math to remove it - not that you shouldn't get the buffs at all

That's how it works for augmentation, their contribution to DPS specs is rerouted to them on the math side by WCL.

It's harder for PI though, so those are just filtered out of the leaderboard.

the only problem is with buffs like PI that also reduce ability cds makes that much harder
