i dont know the proper terms but my understanding is that every cpp gets compiled into that shared/static object thing and at the end they are combined into that final executable or library so every object that included that header has to get recompiled and headers are pmuch included everywhere so it kinda results in that huge recompilation
correct me if im wrong ofc
