[DiscordArchive] I mean at this stage just fork TC and try to re-implement a module system?

Can confirm, just restarting worldserver when I was working on my template stuff was probably where most of my time went

If I were making a blizzard server I’d use AC. No question about that. But for a custom project? Suicide.

I'd say for major overhaul 100% pick TC every time, but if most of your content is still Blizzlike, then it becomes a more even scale

I wish I didn’t have to care about random blizzard quest bugs and missing RP scripts and stuff for blizzard stuff. But for the things that matter we’re so custom it doesn’t matter.

Don’t really care that the onyxia fight is buggy when I’m just remaking it anyway.

That’s fine. Everyone has their own line. But I’ve been working on Epoch for roughly 4.5 years by the time we come out. I can’t imagine spending all that time, and money, on a project that could be slapped closed by a competitor at a cost no greater than $50 when we know they’re happy to spend 10x that on DDoS.

I shouldn’t have to choose host based on how great its DDoS mitigation is. But we do, so I am. Same logic for picking a core.
