I know absolutely nothing about noggit, but when I open red it always asked me about something called a UID, what do I choose if I just wanna make a zone in an existing map?

if it's a blizzard map pick the top option, you only need to worry about UID for maps messed up and merged by the user who can have potentially fucked up the uid

you need to understand how UIDs work, not noggit.

Each model in the game spawned in the map has an unique ID to it, this is to avoid models duplications on bordering tiles, a model that's in two different tiles is present in both of those, but with the same UID so the client doesn't load it more than once.

Noggit needs to know what the highest UID in the map is to assign that ID to new models and increment it by 1 everytime, it's simply what the top option does, it only scans all tiles for the highest UID and saves it in a file, does not modify anything. It's required only once per map to find that initial UID value

The other options are in case you messed up your UIDs and have conflicts by manually merging maps for example, noggit will reattribute all UIDs in every single models in every tile in the map to fix it
