No, that's for skin files, you need m2.bt (you see that triangle at top right, like a play button, you press that and run the template on the m2 file)

i'll wait for the site to be back up and download the m2 ive edited m2s before without it, but this file does not show any things linked to it so it's probably hardcoded like you said we shall see
