Ok, I would never have thought of that and I played retail for a very long time. The effect caught my eye and reminded me of Pokemon ^^ I'm always looking for new visual effects to spice things up ^^

Any conal spells can become "line" spells if you want by giving them the custom attribute in spell custom attr in the db
