Sorry if this is a super basic question, but I tried looking online and couldn't find an answer. When I'm making patches via Stoneharry's Spell Editor, is it possible to merge these patches so that I don't end up with a ton of patches from editing a few spells here and there per patch? In fact, along those lines, assuming all spell adjustments are made with this tool using the same Spell data source, shouldn't the latest patch actually contain all previous changes made as well so in theory I should only need the latest patch? Or is that incorrect?

generating a new patch after each edit is nice to create backups

I suppose this would be very easy to test, and yeah I could store the old patches separately just in case something new is messed up

simple solution, don't make patches directly from spell editor and build your patches from a folder yourself

but if you don't edit anything else there's not reason to not just simply replace the patch
