Fixed my own issue, Just used an mpq editor, removed the spell.dbc and re added the updated one rather than using everything in the wdbx editor itself

It was the last patch loading, PATCH-Z.MPQ, have quite a few other patches before it that do other things for texture updates ect, as I typed my question I realised I hadnt looked up editing the patch itself, and then I found my answer quickly. derp
