Hi I'm probably doing something wrong, it's the first time I've approached mods. I tried installing the **HD Characters + NPCs for WotLK 2.0 mod** https://model-changing.net/index.php?app...view&id=32 and I put it in the "data folder" but I don't notice any changes during the creation of the character, am I doing something wrong?

Those mods are for the 3.3.5 client, not whatever you are using

You can't, the patches are for old wrath, not wrath classic basically
