thats just unreasonable amount of work i would need tens if not hundreds of individual angles otherwise it wouldnt align

i could make custom texture which would be just solid square and take it from that then angle wouldnt matter

would rather check what the difference between your texture and rotatable textures

i dont rly know what "rotatable texture" is this is just default blizz texture for talent link so its just vertical line there are also corners but thats useless for my use case

Then you should be able to rotate it.

but how ? i got this
```lua
local link = data.frame:CreateTexture(nil, "BACKGROUND")
local dx = MellianTalentPositions[data.link].x - data.x
local dy = MellianTalentPositions[data.link].y - data.y
local distance = math.sqrt(dx ^ 2 + dy ^ 2)
local angle = math.atan2(dy, dx)
link:SetTexture("Interface\\TalentFrame\\UI-TalentBranches")
link:SetPoint("CENTER", treeFrame, "BOTTOMLEFT", data.x, data.y)
link:SetSize(10, distance)
link:SetTexCoord(0.0390625, 0.0859375, 0, 0.5)
link:SetRotate(angle)
```
but as soon as i apply rotation it breaks i cant shot it right know but it starts to take other textures from that blp and becomes dashed if that makes sense

You have to use SetTexCoord properly if you want to ue rotation

Yeah SetRotate does nothing more than swapping text coords
