Compression quality is getting worse when you make changes. If you're making lots of changes to your MPQ just make a folder. Name it Patch-(whatever letter).MPQ and it will work fine. Then compress it into an actual MPQ when it's more finalized.

Keep in mind the folder has to be structured like an MPQ. So you can extract all the contents into a folder and then just rename that folder.

thank you bro currently been waiting about 20 mins for it to build doing the folder method xD hopefully soon enough! As long as I can get it working i'll be happy. Trying to make a smaller map patch so instead of having Draenor and everything else trying to only have Pandaria too many files to lol

Worst case, just extract and remake the MPQ and its size should be smaller.

thats what i did the first time but after i closed my mpq my pc turned into a black hole and the patch couldn't be located lmao
