if u would chose AC there are few issues maps are not unloaded so if u would go around world while having 4GB ram u would need to restart server regularly and if u want to practice for ICC for AC thats probably least working raid maybe except ulduar....not that its not working but its not 100% done but then again i dont know other core which would be better

the thing with ac is that raids that previously worked can stop working much more frequently than tc. you can't really use either core to do close theorycrafting of classic servers anyways, so i'd just try one and switch if it's barely functional for your needs

In regards to AC, you don't have to preload everything, but they also don't unload anything once loaded
