Well if you want to collect encounter statistics it should be something tied to either InstanceScript or boss AI

but then i would have to call it in lot of places so instead im using general hooks like `OnUnitDeath` and checking if its in tracked instance if its in combat with player etc

No not really, your solution might fit your needs. But you definitely don't want to implement it that way if you care about performance.

i was thinking about it but i didnt know how else to do it since this module is supposed to be configurable to track any combination of dungs/raids/specific creatures in open world so while currently yes im running it for thousands of creatures in open world which are not tracked only way i can think of to fix it is to write custom script for that creature and call it there which would make this module not configurable
