Now I only see them all bunch of files meshed together without any folder structure

if it has mangled names chances are very high that it's a leak

mangled names like that is something you do deliberately to make it harder to read, so if someone posted something like that publicly they probably stole it from somewhere. there are ways to open those, but most people here don't mess with that

Thing is, the spells are working perfectly fine when you put them in Data folder

When I open some of those m2 files with 010 editor, I can see model name and texture names, etc

that's how mangling works, the client doesn't need filenames intact for it to still work correctly
