it's more that this tells us it can be a multi-factor thing that causes it only in some instances. if it was only dependent on rage, the rage ones wouldn't be possible

i would;
1. verify on the server if the earlier ranks are actually unlearnt or not (e.g. check SpellChains and so on) to see if it is actually a client behavior or not
2. try to change the working rage ones to energy to ensure those two behave the same
3. decimate shit out of everything that you copy for each spell (flags, family id(!), skillines etc)

decide on a single spell that you try everything on, i think you're at the stage where I wouldn't analyze the problem too much and just go in with a hammer

it should be a simple solution somewhere the classifies this or be known by now i would think, specially in a mod discord where we love to break and custom lol
