it's simple, map chunks point to area id 1000(example), you changed area id 1000 to 1100 in the dbc so now it doesn't work, to fix it you either revert it to 1000 in the dbc or select that area in noggit and repaint it to update the ID

all i wanted to do was to change IDs in DBCs so they are easier to work with especially in scripts so i dont have to hardcode everything individually so instead of ids like 807 7855 2540 302 754 684 i would have 1000 8000 3000 300 1000 1000 for this map and then 1001 8001 3001 301 1001 1001 for next map etc

I don't really see how round numbers are easier to work with, and if you can make scripts then make a script to iterate the ADT chunks and update the values
