yeah say we want to add a new slot for any particular item so it doesnt need to be stored in a bag.

definitely hardcoded, probably doable through LUA though

Yeah see i can make a custom one np but if i can help it i wanted to use blizzards existing slot system to do it.

As then the functionality for equip non equip ect is already there i dont need to reinvent the wheel lol

You would need to extend the player fields and all instructions pointing to equipment slots, then write the UI part.
