When you click on the link that I shared, what values are different from what you're expecting? Those are the default values for the dbc file for 3.3.5

hmm could it be that from me saying "default value for column" u understood that i mean default data overall ? meaning dbc with blizzlike data with no changes

that could be source of misunderstanding each other right now....what i meant is that for example WorldMapOverlay
ID - obviously required
MapAreaID - required
AreaID[0] - required
AreaID[1] - not required default value 0
etc

basically im writing code to create new dbc records and i want to structure it so that it enforces required values and puts default values to optional columns so i dont have to constantly check which are required etc

I'm working on something similar for mass importing creature models. AFAIK you need to manually define each column as required/optional. I only just started looking into it though so idk if there's a better way to do it.

ye obviously i have to write all that code manually but im searching for some source so i dont have to figure out every column of 50 different dbcs myself

Yuuuup, none that I've found, I've been looking for something like that for a few weeks. The public resources only go so far and are sparsely updated. The documentation on a lot of dbcs are severely lacking.
