If in the future you would share your projects with the alphamaps - I think it would also be of great help not only to WoW Modders, but also to Gaea guys who use it for their Unity/Unreal/Blender solo projects
Did you have a learning curve, any tutorials maybe where the topic explicitly covers how to do alphamaps the way you did them, or did you come up with the method by your own?

I will be releasing one of my projects with the tutorials. The others, I'll release once I have my server out. So I don't get sniped with my own content

I had to learn it all. There's literally no info on doing splatmaps, and Gaea's discord is filled with people who do stuff for CGI, not games.
