Old items that don't exist anymore are deleted on server restart and the entry is freed up to be used for something else

Interesting, I think it would works great for custom items in general, not sure how it would look in terms of issues we ran into, but then again we generated a billion items due to them having item scaling, mythic level, normal / heroic / pvp / bloodforged versions for every item in the game.

Yeah, we decided on generating on runtime instead since everything is random, and just have pre assigned entry ranges for item dbc dummy data

The hardest part is being able to repeat the rng, i:e you want to upgrade an item with the same seed but a higher quality
