Blender question, when modifying old models like this how do you get the newly added faces' unwrapped textures to be continuous with the old? Or do you have to manually readjust every unwrap vert?

You can select the old neighboring verts/face and in UV edit window select them and press **P** to pin them in place, then you can select the old ones *and* new ones and press the unwrap button. If the 2 are connected (connected vertices) then the new should follow the UV layout of the old
