areatrigger may work(not sure) from server side only, but emulators read it from dbc by default

I work as web developer on a daily job. So web apps are ok for me.
When app runs inside your usual browser, it guarantees that you're secured to some degree from malicious code. Since browser itself acts as a sandbox for all the code.

There are two categories of stuff that do not run good in browser:
1) when app needs to interact with the hardware (through USB or COM ports)
2) when app needs to perform heavy operations on GPU (games and other apps)
