There is an issue though.
1) Wotlk Classic is already out
2) Almost all file formats there are retail
3) it uses retail network layer. So rip your old opcodes

you can just download the textures manually for the models you want to use. You can use wow.export or wow.tools to download the textures, and to figure out what textures you are missing, use 010 editor and alastor' script to see which textures the model needs. WoW.Export should also give you the ability to download the m.2 and all its textures with one click I believe, but the m.2 would not work with 3.3.5 until you convert it, so you could just snatch the textures and hope it downloads all the textures, if not then010 editor is required.

Thank you! I used materials from GrimReapaa pack on MC, which should have also textures. I'll dig more in some other folder, otherwise I'll try your routine!

I recommend just using their model data and then manually getting textures if you are only taking certain things from it
