It's for drawing light sphere influence, to see exactly where the lights end and where they begin

Also, look at these circles. Usually, if you see such circles you would expect them to get bigger from one pole, be at their longest at the equator and to get smaller as you approach to your other pole.
But I do not see the last part It's as if they just get bigger and bigger all the time
