the reason those tools are out of date is the same reason support here isn't instant, there's not a lot of people around and blizzards file formats change all the time

Unfortunately WMV is pretty messed up and most people use a 3.3.5a version and retroport newer models. If you want to just browse models and view them, use wow.tools site.
