I've a quick questing related to spell damage scaling. Does WEAPON_DAMAGE_PERCENT take attack power into account or is it only NORMALIZED_WEAPON_DAMAGE that does that? If I wanted to create a spell that has no base damage, but instead of scales from weapon damage and AP, should I create one effect with % damage and another with normalized damage but a die value of 0?

I have a fat 1 TB harddrive from 2010 but I forget to port stuff over to it. Never realize somethings gonna go down until it's too late.

In 3.3.5? I'm unfamiliar with any such spell that uses weapon damage and attack power. Stuff like bloodthirst doesnt use weapon damage, just attack power.

Rank 1 Death Strike deals 75% weapon damage and 112 normalized weapon damage, this might not be the case in 3.3.5 but after patch 1.8 this formula (normalized_damage = base_weapon_damage + (X * Attack Power / 3.5)) is applied to instant attacks so unless I'm mistaken any spell that uses normalized weapon damage should have some AP scaling.
