Sadly all aoes in WotLK are circles if I’m correct.
But you might be able to “draw” a line with the circular aoe patterns

The only other option I can think of might lie with an existing Boss Encounter, perhaps this mechanic exists in a dungeon/raid, maybe even a vehicle
