I took a Blizzard map for my raid. Wanted to add other textures to them, but it doesn't work. says something about unpaintable chuncks, so I can't redesign them. can this be avoided so that I can completely retexture the map?

basically everything that is highlighted in red cannot be retextured. this only served as a test now, hence the green rocks

yes, there are 4 textures in the picker, but there can't be a limit of 4 textures for a large map

i would guess that your problem is just that the textures selected for each chunk is wrong, the alphamaps themselves look good
