the community should have gathered on making their own WoW edit a long time ago with some of the biggest minds, idk with this never happened. It would make modding 1000x more accessible if we had our wow edit

unreal engine has attempted to bridge these two approaches with some success, but even in those projects i've often found designers rely almost entirely on developers to set exactly what they need up for them, and that's one of the most flexible gui systems for game programming period

I mean, if you're talking about scripting yeah that's something that is very hard to do only from a GUI, and shouldn't tbh.
all the client db stuff can "easily" be in a program
