Change the compatability type. Funny enough, I had the same issue years ago, I emailed Ladik and he created this expansion variant feature. It will enable your MPQs to be a bit larger if you use WotLK compatability type, but you'll eventually run into the same issue if it gets too crazy. I managed to get to 35 GB without issue.
