Not sure how exactly you imagine process of making M2s with WMV but you can set up a armor for the character in WMV and then export its texture which will export characters skin you predifec with armor on it

you can later then convert that texture to blp and give it to wow as baked npc texture for creaturedisplayinfoextra

that was at ~~ now working quite alot irl i have plan to make animated emote's in future
