Well yeah I could have just made 2 different M2 but it would be more clean to have one creature and hence am trying to figure this out

the only way for that to work is to *not* hardcode the textures. then you can choose which texture you want from the dbc

choosing to hardcode textures and having them apply to the same portions of the model is just asking it to just choose whatever loads last
