Can someone explain me the Big/Small alpha thing. Personally not encountered issues with it so no clue what the diffrances are

Prior to Wotlk the terrain used less alpha resolution when deciding which layers are down on top of others.

In Wotlk this changed, and the resolution doubled, but instead of converting all the old maps to the new format, they just added additional support for the extra resolution

So essentially both resolutions of alphamaps are present in Wotlk but the big ones only present in WOTLK (custom) maps?
