Brazil has a _massive_ private server scene across basically any MMO you can think of that's old enough purely because their hardware costs are so high that older free games are the goto.

it's not _that_ common but not _that_ uncommon either. For a lot of people there just isn't a very big motivation to upgrade if all you do is play very old games anyways

Prenty of people who wanna play a game here and there that do not have access to mid+ grade hardware at all. I know someone who is quite young and just wanna play chill old games. Still has some old pc
