so, i have to update my core and i have a lot of custom changes currently. I found a general "guide" for updating AC and keeping the changes that i have, but, im not used to GitHub, i use Perforce. Does anyone mind spending a few min in a DM to help me understand what i need to do? At least the first few steps?

"guide" because its like "hey just to this and that and you are done!" the assumption is that one understand github lol ...
