though it should be noted trinitycore is not very actively maintained anymore, azerothcore would likely take more effort

i think TC has moved more to 9.x over 3.3.5 ... seems they are chasing the dream ... and thats fine, but, AC seems to be a lot heavier in the 3.3.5 area. Not sure thye will move to "Classic 3.3.5"

it's almost certain nobody will ever write a dedicated core for classic 3.3.5, that would be via a packet forwarder similar to the ones they have for 1.14 now

but whether even that's feasible or not depends heavily on how much changes in wotlk classic, we don't know that yet

yeah but at least TC is on course for that .. AC, as far as i know, hasnt even looked.

i'm not following the ac tracker very closely, but if i'm to believe their supporters ac does participate in sniffing the current classic versions more actively than tc does. I think it's very unlikely that any would be able to make a proper emulator for any classic version, it would be more akin to a translation layer
