sometimes i'm a little lazy and forget to merge, but in almost ~1.5 years of development we only had major issues with their patches once

we've held back on advertising it to not get overwhelmed too early, but this autumn we made most of the major fixes that we needed to start finalizing our api

I guess one last question, since the tutorial mentions installing it via. a prepackaged zip file. Is it possible to just grab it from the github page? I noticed that under "cores" there is both TrinityCore and AzerothCore, and I'm a bit new to the git stuff so I'm not sure if it would be a stupid idea to get the whole tswow/tswow repo

Just trying to avoid downloading a full update package anytime there's a release

Ah I found the compiling instruction in the documentation rather than the beginner tutorial. Thank you again!

I've gotten lost in the compiling tutorial. Where do I execute the "npm i" command at?

ah, the compilation guide kind of assumes most of the prerequisites listed in the repack instructions to be available, i should probably fix that in the wiki. if you're completely new to tswow you might want to consider a repack just to try it out and get used to how tswow works, it's very easy to migrate to a source build if you want to do that later: <https://tswow.github.io/tswow-wiki/introduction/02-installation/>
