Is there a limitation for down porting? For example, is it better results porting down from Legion to WotLK over BFA? I guess limitation isnt the proper word there ... but a recommended version to version ?

From my side I dont have recommended version for downports if ya gain skill how to solve errors everything is open for ya i take files straight from sl 9.2.5 last ptr to 3.3.5a

yeah i wasnt sure if there was a "more reliable" version to version ... we pull almost everything from BFA. A lot of luck with most things.... for example this Zandalari helm port is killing us. I guess one thing that makes it hard is understanding what i am looking for when porting. What exactly am i doing with TXID other then pressing a single button? What are the errors and what do they mean? There is so much information on my end thats missing. When it "click click" works, great! Its what do i do exactly when it doesnt? What are the little numbers i might need to change in TXID ... why do the helms not sit right by default, why does porting X work and not Y (model, helm, whatever) ... i think thats one of the most frustrating parts of "all this" and why new people (like myself) get frustrated easy and ask soo many questions to the people that seem to already know this ...
