I'm still stuck on this gun thing. I changed skillraceclassinfo.dbc to allow everyone to use gun. I copied how the skill for cloth was laid out, which means, I used flag 128. I was thinking I wonder if that is what causes the red text and prof warning in game. I have the file in the server data files and client patch.

look for a gun passive ability then learn it , if one fixes the color check its effect

it's not `Flags` you're looking to change, it's RaceMask/ClassMask

Aye, it's been a long time since I messed with weapon skills but I believe there is both a spell and a skill that the player must know

i don't remember if you need to also change SkillLineAbility, but I think you do
