programming no emulation yes i installed TC a little back then moved to TSWoW and just used TSWoW since then

In that case I need to explain that Cmake's job is just to generate visual studio project file. You do the compile in visual studio: (top bar)Build->Build Solution

Code projects are built differently depending on the tools and operating system you use. Cmake builds the code project and manages dependencies.
