i assume roots access is gone. was there other accounts created?
tried `FLUSH HOSTS` and `FLUSH PRIVILEGES` ? You can verify with a `SHOW GRANTS FOR root` or whatever account you are using to log in with

Does anyone know how to properly implement custom movies on the 3.3.5 client? Yes, I've already converted the Video to avi/mp4 and with the xvid/mpeg4 codec with all 3 possible resolution options, yet it does not work. It seems like it has to be compressed even further using the fourcc DXGM
