I still can't figure this out but I set it in WMOAreaTable for a WMO object after getting its root WMO ID from 010 editor for the same model. There is only a single copy of this WMO in the map files so I don't need to set a NameSet ID.

open m2 in 010
apply m2 template
scroll down to struct camera
open CT_CharInfo
open Pos[3]
and add +2 in Pos[0]
