Yeah that's my point, lowest first, up-spec later as needed as this stuff gets costly.

Like if you intend to just have 3 friends on a simple server and you don't intend to like make any changes and configuration to it which will require extra RAM then 1GB is fine. My test server for example only requires 1GB and I can have 3 accounts logged into it.
