Oh if you're adding custom stuff to your DBC files, they need to be added both server and client. So DBC files on the server then you need an MPQ Editor to package the DBC files up for the client.

yeah, ok so in the right direction, mpqs are in client data folder and .dbc in server....idk ill wait around for an answer

MPQ files are Blizzard's way of making the WoW client smaller for distribution, seems as servers aren't usually distributed with Blizzard content, it doesn't make sense.

Oh another thing... did you look at how Blizzard lays out the directory tree within an MPQ file? It's important. You've to had the tree the same. So if you are putting DBC files in there, then you need the folders and sub-folders that Blizzard uses for DBC files.

But in my experience if you do `.learn spellId` and it doesn't error but you don't see it, the data is missing client side and/or marked as hidden. If you do `.learn spellId` and it says the spell doesn't exist, then the server does not know about the spell.https://imgur.com/ose0fBu
