I think it also depends on these "proficiency" spells - not sure exactly how, but when I tried porting "revenge" to rogues it wouldn't activate from all the conditions, just from either parry or dodge, not sure which. That was before I knew about these "proficiency" spell though, so I can't 100% confirm it.
