Not related, but do you know if is it possible to 'try' mounts? like when you 'try' an item onto your Character. If Im not wrong Blizz implemented this in new expansions.
I want to be able to `DressUpModel:TryOn(mountID)` (Widget API)

I don't think it is. You _might_ be able to hack it by forcing the model animation and spawning a new model for the mount under it

Or a new buff that forces it to just be a mount but no speed or flight or anything. Purely visual
