I think the patch with the updated dbc file is somehow not being read. Maybe it's overriden by another patch? Although I don't see how. Do the patches in locale override the data patches?

it might on some locales but i've yet to confirm this, it shouldn't on us/uk ones at least

I didn't! Only edited the CreatureDisplayInfo.dbc. Copied a row, and did not change anything in the row expect for the ID
