so, it functions when item == itemid is 'item ~= item id' and gives the spell but for all items though when its 'item == itemid' it stops giving the spell for all items even the specific one

I don't code for wow but maybe it's sending the number as a string for some dumb reason (I doubt it) or sending a name and not a number (again, doubt it)

Just to see if it actually does find that Id, if so there is a problem learning the spell

If not then need to find why its not finding that. You might need to store item in another variable once the function is called and check to that. Who knows?
